Sarah studied film and media at the University of Virginia and co-founded The Bridge Film Series before moving to New York to work as a book designer and being selected as a resident documentary film curator at UnionDocs in Brooklyn. After a couple years in the city, she succumbed to the temptation to return to Charlottesville and hasn’t looked back since. In addition to her work at Piedmont Council for the Arts, Sarah also runs a local storefront arts initiative, CommonPlace Arts.
