John Alexander is currently the Associate Director of SHANTI (Sciences, Humanities and Arts Network of Technological Initiatives) at the University of Virginia.

John's educational background in the humanities, his experience teaching at four institutions of higher education, and his experiences as a general manager at UVa for 30 years have almost prepared him for his current responsibilities.
